Piano lessons are always very popular and the rich tones of this acoustic instrument appeal to everyone.

Piano music is written with two parts interweaving to give a full sound. The first step focusses on playing simple ‘five finger’ pieces. This is ideal for gaining hand-eye coordination before progressing further.

As with the keyboard there is a great variety of music available, ranging from folk songs and ballads to the classical repertoire of Bach and Haydn. 

A comfortable, fluent technique is our aim and effective fingerwork is really helpful in this regard. Pedalling is added later on to enhance the sound and compliment our other ideas for a lovely performance.
